The gift of 1440 – Frank Little Edition

Each day at Midnight, we are all given 1,440 minutes to do with whatever it is that we want to do. Some people like to sleep all day and do nothing with their minutes. Some people lose a lot of minutes scrolling through social media. Some people like to spend their minutes entertaining themselves, and others like to be productive with their minutes. Nobody is wrong. They are your minutes and you are allowed to do what makes you happy. As long as you are not hurting anyone with with your minutes, then do whatever the hell you want with them. However, there will come a time where the minutes that are deposited into your account at midnight are no longer going to be there. Will you have done everything you wanted to do with your minutes? Will you have accomplished everything you had set out for in life?
My friend Frank Little just passed away three days ago. He woke up just as you and I did and hours later, he had no more minutes in his account. Frank wasn’t even 40.
Make your minutes count. If you have goals find ways to stay focused on them and lessen your distractions. Distractions can easily steal your minutes. Prioritize your day the night before. This will help you get the most out of your minutes. Instead of making a to do list, try entering everything you want to accomplish into your calendar and stick to the schedule. Put the tasks you hate doing first in the morning and finish your day off with things you like to do. Also, turn off your notifications on your phone. All of them. You can schedule 5 minute blocks through out the day to check your phone. The phone has become a huge theft of your minutes.
This post is dedicated to my good buddy Frank Little who unfortunately passed away way to soon. We are all going to miss you dearly bud. You will never be forgotten.

Love you Frank!

Invest your minutes
